(Chassis 6) This was my first Cyclone, which was built for me by the factory in around 1996. It's powered by a 2-litre Calibra Turbo engine. The car is now on its fourth owner. If they'd like to make contact, I'll update this section accordingly.
(Chassis 7) My second Cyclone! Bought from the original builder, sold by me in 2002 and recently sold on again in around 2010. 1.8 8-valve Vauxhall engine.
(Chassis 8) This is Stan Paice's car, who runs the Cyclone Register (see links page). Stan built this car in 1997 over a ten month period with the help of his son, Philip. The car was displayed on Car Craft's stand at the 1998 Stoneleigh kit car show. It's powered by a 1-8-litre 8-valve Opel Ascona engine (running the standard injection but with the original fuel pressure regulator upgraded to a Weber adjustable type which has improved pickup). The gearbox is an F16 unit.
The colour is Renault Sunflower. Wheels are TSW Blades. The strange gearknob you can see in the pic is made from an Australian Banksia Nut! The original silencer (made with two MGB boxes) has been replaced with a stainless steel one made by Torque Technique of Salisbury, Wilts. I used the same company on my second Cyclone, with is currently in the For Sale section of this site. The front brakes (originally from an Opel Manta) have been replaced with Hi-Spec discs and calipers, and the rears are also in the process of being upgraded to Hi-Spec units, including a handbrake facility.
(Chassis 9) This car features a Vauxhall 16v red top turbo in the rear. It's now owned by a new owner in the Netherlands. These pictures are provided by the previous owner, John Cuthbert, who bought from the original builder some years ago.
